Md Monabbir Hossain is a young researcher in the field of Environmental Science and has been working as a Research Associate in Environment and Climate Change Division since May 2026. He completed his B.Sc. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University and MS in Environmental Science from Bangladesh Agricultural University. Monabbir has authored several peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals. His research interests include Climate Change and Global Warming, Air Pollution and Atmospheric Science, GIS and Remote Sensing-based Environmental Monitoring, Public Health Risk Assessment, Water Quality Monitoring, Sustainable Urban Planning, Climatic Hazard Mapping, Land-Use and Land-Cover Change Analysis, Carbon Stock Assessment, and Land–Atmosphere Interactions.
